I realize I'm a little late on these, but here are some of the top vote getters for Chris Cole's new truck design.  Some of them are a little more radical than others, but they are all pretty sick.  Which one do you think should be his next truck?

The A.Skate Foundation is a non profit organization that takes children with Autism and hooks them up with skateboards and gear, and provides them with skateboarding lessons.  According to A.Skate's website, many autistic children have a hard time following directions and lack that necessary social skills to be able to enjoy team sports.  As cliche as it might sound, the truly great thing about skateboarding is that there are no rules to follow, and it can be enjoyed alone, or with just a few buddies.  A.Skate provides lessons nation wide, with experienced skateboarders leading the way.  Judging from the pictures, the kids really seem to be enjoying themselves, and that's what skateboarding is all about.  Check out there website at www.askate.org and get stoked for these kids.

Theeve has just added Darrell Stanton to their roster of heavy hitters.  Are Theeves the next big thing?  Lets recap their current roster: Tony Hawk, Matt Mumford, Johnny Layton, Garrett Hill, Dan Murphy, Gareth Stehr, Chad Bartie, Ben Raybourn, and Darrell Stanton.  Hopefully they sell enough trucks to continue to pay these dudes.  Here is a video of Mr. Stanton from that Element movie.  I wish I could have posted Brent Atchely's part, but it wouldn't really be relevant to this post.

Don't mess with that vert skating that you see in the eX-Games.  540, 540, 540, 540, 720, buzzer, kick out, put on energy drink hat, podium.  Check this video of the one and only Max Schaaf showing everyone how vert is supposed to be skated...fast lip tricks, and high, tweaked airs.  Spinning is for ballerinas... 

The dude also has one of my all time favorite quotes, and it goes something like, "I can sell you the raddest bike, and you can buy the outfit, and everyone will think you are some badass biker.  I can sell you the raddest skateboard, and you can buy all the latest skate gear, but as soon as you drop in, everyone is going to know that you are a kook."  Classic.

More Antihero related news today.  It looks like Peter Hewitt no has a bottomless amount of weed to smoke and mushrooms to eat thanks to his recent signing by Nike.  I never really thought that I'd see the day, but good for him.  This begs the question, "what is going down at Vox right now?"  Will the rest of the team be taking off, or will they ride Vox out?
