Santa Cruz has just announced that they are welcoming Sid Melvin to the pro ranks.  Sid has been a Santa Cruz am for some time, and now he joins the likes of Emanuel Guzman and Nilton Neves.  Congrats Sid, you have definitely earned it.

It's a slow day in the world of skateboarding news, but here is a video of some classic Wade Speyer.  Speyer can skate anything and everything, and to top it all off, the dude drives a truck for a living.  Wade is the ultimate in badassery, and a decent dude for skaters to look up to.  At the risk of not sounding cool, 99% of skaters need to go to school, get a job, and skate everyday.  What Would Wade Do?

This kid has been getting on the website for the past two weeks and telling us that he is Tony Trujillo, then he pretends to be a girl and writes the most creepy things that you've ever read...I have no idea why.  Anyways, it made me think of this video from Thrasher of the real Tony Trujillo.  "He will go to your fucking park and he will blow your joint out."--Phelps
