How to Properly Measure for Helmet Size

Begin by wrapping a soft tape measure around your head, just above the eyebrows, keeping the tape level from front to back. If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can use a piece of string, yard, or dental floss to measure the total circumference. Now, lay the string out on a table and use a ruler to measure the total length.

If the helmet is a gift and you can't measure their head, then measure the inside of the recipient's frequently used helmet or a baseball hat.
