These are just some of the 500 brands that were represented at the Action Sports Retailer, or ASR, in San Diego. This three day event has been bringing the Surf, Skate, Swim, Snow, and Moto industries together for 25 years. 360Skate was there to bring you the trendiest names and top brands in the Skate Industry. Some of the exciting events were the Mini-Ramp, Game of Skate, the Skateboard Feud-Charity Challenge, 411, RDS, and Impact video premieres, and an ASR Fashion Show. The Mini-Ramp area used Jim Bell's Skateboard Ramps and included street obstacles and a designated street area, along with banks, ledges, and flat bars so ensure everyone had a place to skate. In the Game of Skate, over 2500 kids from around the world compete tournament-style, until only the top skaters are left, and the winner is determined. The Skateboard Feud-Charity Challenge was a Family Feud style event hosted by Skatepark of Tampa's Brian Shaefer to benefit four national charities including StandUp for Kids and Voices for Children. Studio 411 premiered The Reality of Bob Burnquist, All Aboard the Crazy Train, and Derelictica videos. Impact and RDS also had their video premieres. Some highlights from the 360Skate crew:
Matt (Owner Guy)- meeting some of the suicide girls, seeing old friends, buying all the great new products for the upcoming holiday season for 360Skate.
Shannon (Customer Service Chick)- seeing friends, meeting other reps, seeing the skate competitions, and video premiere parties
